Draft Law on Amendment and Supplement to the Public Procurement Law was published for public consultation

The amendments proposed through the Law on Amendment and Supplementation of the Public Procurement Act is mainly aimed at:

• establishment of normative rules and conditions for the gradual introduction and implementation of an electronic procurement platform in the country;

• the introduction in national law of an obligation for contracting authorities to receive and process electronic invoices in connection with the execution of public procurement contracts, in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2014/55 / ​​EU;

• unifying the practice of law enforcement by refining specific rules and requirements of the law and improving cooperation between the ex-ante and ex-post law enforcement bodies, including by strengthening some of their functions.
